This Pre Owned Fender 1978 Stratocaster in Antigua finish with Rosewood fingerboard is in fantastic condition for its age. As you can see in our photo's it presents very nicely as a complete outfit with the original case and candy. Including owners paperwork, tags. strap, cable, tools, key and springs. This is a guitar that has been very well cared for and only shows light signs of use.
The neck is in mint condition with no dinks or dents to report. There is some light fret wear but still plenty of life in them yet. There are a couple of small dinks on the body and back edge of the headstock. All hardware working as it should and barely showing any signs of its true age. There is certainly nothing major to report and we think you'd be hard pushed to find an example in this fine condition.
We know both previous owners of this guitar as Tim who works here sold this originally back in Feb 1979 at Coventry Music Centre. The original handwritten receipt is enclosed. We then sold this guitar many years later to a local collector and friend of the shop. We are proud to have this guitar for sale once again.
We've given it a full healthcheck in our workshop and it's now ready to find a new home. Currently set up with D'Addario 9-42's.
