What is the Starplayer CBR?
Retaining the aesthetics of the celebrated Starplayer design, the Starplayer CBR brings you a new and unique tonal response through a chambered Mahogany body, one-piece Maple neck and flat Maple top. It comes with our newly designed Diamond Prestige Tremola unit featuring an elegant flat-arm design, as well as our new Flextone+ 5-Way wiring. The Starplayer CBR comes in five exclusive colors, all featuring a transparent brown back and elegant flamed Maple top.
Aside from the three regular pickup positions, the Flextone+ wiring offers two more in-between combinations at the flick of a switch. Referencing the early days of Duesenberg, the brand new Diamond Prestige Tremola features an elegant flat arm design. Additionally, the new Flextone+ wiring sets you up with five totally unique and practical sounds from the two pickups.
The fretboard is to your music, what the handle of a brush is to a painting. It says a lot about an instrument how much care was taken here. Our creamy Domino P90 in the neck position and the classically voiced GrandVintage Humbucker at the bridge form an all-around dream team many have tried to replicate. The acclaimed middle position of the heavy duty 3-way switch features a special wiring that filters certain low-end frequencies out of the humbucker signal. The result is an open, funky and extremely versatile addition to your pallet of tone.
