This 1964 Vox AC30 Treble is in outstanding condition for its age and will most certainly appeal to those wanting to own a rare piece of Vox Amplification history. Made for only a short period of time during May and June of 1964, this Version 12 model in Charcoal Grey Tolex is extremely rare and because of this was featured in the research for Jim Elyeas book on 'The JMI Years' of Vox production. Included with the sale are printed exerpts from the book detailing the features from this amp which identify it as a version 12.
As you would imagine, it is a fantastic sounding amp and comes from a serious Vox enthusiast and collector. Great care has been taken to maintain the originality throughout ownership and it has been well stored over the years. The previous owner had it for over 20 enjoyable years and it was used regularly.
You will spot genuine wear and tear in our photographs with one of the original logos (treble badge) missing from the bottom right hand corner. We have given it a good test and we're very pleased to report, it sounds as good as you would hope.
