This Pre Owned Fender 2004 Custom Shop '65 Stratocaster NOS with lipstick pickups in Vintage White finish with Rosewood fingerboard is in excellent condition for its age. The matching headstock looks super cool on this model. You can tell it hasn't been played much over the years and care has been taken to keep it in good shape. It does have a handful of small paint chips and dinks from use but certainly nothing major to report. The most noticeable marks are a small dink in the finish of the neck pocket, treble side and 2 others on the face of the headstock that can be seen clearly in photo 2 of our listing. On close inspection there is some lacquer checking to the body but nothing out the ordinary.
The neck is lovely and clean and the original frets have very little wear. All electronics and hardware working as they should. We'd score the overall condition of this guitar a solid 8.5/10.
Includes the original hardcase with keys and case candy. All of which has been kept in excellent condition. Contains: Instrument cable, leather strap, un-used cloth, ash tray cover, tremolo arm and springs, 5-way selector switch, case keys, owners manual and sticker. The original certificate of authenticity is included.
We've given it a full set up and healthcheck in our workshop with fresh set of D'Addario EXL110's (10-46) and it's now ready to find a new home.
