This Pre Owned Hofner 1958 President Semi Acoustic is in excellent condition for its age. Included in the case is the original Hofner/Selmer guarantee card. This guitar has been carefully stored over the years and we are amazed at the condition.

When the guitar arrived to us it did require some work to get it back into good playable action. We entrusted local luthier John Williams to reset the neck, adjust the bridge height and do a full fret dress. He has done an exceptional job and we now proudly present this guitar for sale.

The guitar itself does show wear and tear mainly along the back of the neck with some areas of finish worn away. The body shows small dinks here and there but nothing major to note. The frets having been recently levelled are quite low but it does still play nicely. It features a Hofner pick up system that was potentially factory fitted. It is worth noting that this system uses a 3.5mm jack, there is an adapter included in the case. We feel for the age of the guitar, the condition is still excellent.
