This Pre Owned Martin 1998 SPD-16R Special Edition Acoustic is in very good condition for its age. On first look from a distance it looks in excellent condition but as you get closer and start to inspect it, you spot quite a lot of play wear. Certainly nothing major to report but there is multiple small signs of use (indentations and scratches). The frets are showing quite a bit of wear, mainly on the first 3 frets. They still have plenty of life in them yet and it plays nicely. The back of the neck has a series of light indentations that can be seen more than felt when you play. We don't think they would cause the player any issues. Hardware all in very good shape and includes the original Martin hardcase.

All in all a fantastic Rosewood/Spruce Martin dreadnought with nice appointments at a very reasonable price.

We've given it a full healthcheck in our workshop and it's now ready to find a new home. Still plenty if height left on the saddle should you wish to adjust in the future.
