This Pre Owned Epiphone 1960 Century E422T in Sunburst finish is in excellent condition, in fact quite remarkable for its age. It is a lovely clean example with very little wear and tear to report. You can tell this has been well stored over the years. We believe everything on this guitar is original.
It does have light marks on the body with surface scratches and small dinks from use. We feel this adds to the vibe of a vintage piece like this. The overall quality of the Sunburst finish on the body is still great. The frets are in excellent condition and only show light wear. The neck has a few small indents and scratches but nothing that impacts on the playability. The finish on the back of the neck has dulled down from use and feels comfortable to play. All the hardware is functioning as it should. The pickup has good output and it really is very nice guitar to sit and play (it is hard to put it down!). This is certainly the finest example we have seen and we're excited to find it a new home.
We've given it a full set up and healthcheck in our workshop with fresh set of 11-48's. Includes a good fitting but basic period correct semi-hardcase.
