This Pre Owned Gibson 2017 Custom Shop 1958 Reissue R8 in Dirty Lemon finish is in excellent condition with only light signs of play wear. You can tell this has been well cared for by the original owner. There is certainly nothing major to report with this one. Just a handful of small dinks around the back bottom edge and one tiny one on the top of the body near the jack socket. Other than this just some normal light swirling and surface scratches on the back of the body. Any small blemishes blend in well and we don't think detract from this being a very nice example.
The neck on this guitar is lovely and clean with no dinks or dents to report. There is barely any fret wear which goes to show how little it has been played. All hardware in great shape. It does have the usual binding bleed that we have learnt to expect from Gibson's of this period. The jack socket plate has some hairline cracks from being slightly overtightened but it still stays in place well.
Includes the original Gibson case, key, COA booklet, factory checklist, blank toggle switch plate and swing tags. All have been kept in excellent condition.
We've given it a full set up and healthcheck in our workshop with fresh set of D'Addario EXL110's (10-46) and it's now ready to find a new home.
