This Pre Owned Fender 1997 Eric Clapton Artist Signature Stratocaster in Black finish is in excellent condition for its age. It has certainly been played quite a bit but treated with care. Overall only showing light signs of use with small indents and light scratches/swirling. There are no paint chips or deep scratches to the finish. As you can see in our photo's it presents very well as a complete outfit with the original tweed case and paperwork.
The Maple neck is in very good condition with no big dinks or dents on the back. Although it does show the usual lacquer cracking and clouding that this era is known for having. This is most prominant on the fingerboard but we don't think it impacts the playability. The frets are in very good shape and have plenty of life left in them.
